Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

MNsure offices will be closed November 28 and November 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The Broker Service Line will also be closed on Saturday, November 30, but the MNsure Contact Center will be open from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Regular open enrollment hours will resume on Monday, December 2.

MNsure Life Events

MNsure is currently processing life events reported on or before November 6. Assisters that have reported a life event online or through the Broker Line will receive a secure email with the results once the life event has been processed.

Life events for MinnesotaCare and Medical Assistance-eligible consumers are not processed by MNsure. Please contact MinnesotaCare of the county for the status of those life events.

If you reported a life event after the dates listed above, please do not include them on your MNsure CSR requests or contact the broker service line to check on their status at this time.


Alternate Use for the Case Status Request (CSR) Form

Save some time and submit a CSR form to request and gather information about a consumer’s eligibility or application prior to an appointment. The CSR form is typically used to check the status of a consumer case, but by submitting the form via secure email prior to a meeting to obtain information needed, it will save you time waiting on hold.

The CSR form can be located on the Forms and Guides page of Broker One Stop.

Status of Enrollment Requests

We have many assisters calling to check status after completing an enrollment through the new online enrollment system. The Broker Service Line view of the enrollment status is the same view you will see after completing an online enrollment. We kindly ask that you not call if you are able to verify an enrollment online.

MNsure has created a guide, Eligibility and Enrollment Status Types in the Shopping and Enrollment Platform, that will assist in what types of statuses will appear on the member dashboard and their meaning.

AOR Page on Broker One Stop

We are very excited about the new page on Broker One Stop called Agent of Record. The page consolidates the most current resources, policies and procedures and provides quick access to AOR information.

On the new Agent of Record page, you will find:

  • How to set up AORs for consumers eligible for a SEP
  • How to set up AORs for 2019 enrollments and 2020 enrollments
  • Tips for Assister Portal Associations
