Account Manager – Group Health and Life Insurance

Position Details:

LeClair Group is hiring a full-time Account Manager to provide client satisfaction through relationship management while supporting business development efforts of the Sales Executives.

Job Duties:

  • Manage client relationships by setting appropriate expectations.
  • Serve customers by completing enrollments, terminations, and responding to requests; resolving complaints; maintaining quality service.
  • Provide quotes and new sales proposals based on Sales Executive’s recommendations.
  • Maintain data integrity for retail employer groups by updating records when necessary.
  • Prepare renewal proposals by analyzing current plans and comparing them to market alternatives.
  • Resolve escalated cases by investigating issues as a client advocate.
  • Remain current with all legislation and industry policy changes.


  • Familiarity with the group health insurance market.
  • Ability to collaborate and thrive in a team environment.
  • Experience or exposure to other lines of insurance preferred.
  • Willingness to learn our product portfolio and understand the changing nature of the insurance industry.
  • Confidence in your ability to advocate on behalf of our clients.
  • Highly organized – lining up all the details to present a strong case.
  • Four year degree preferred
  • Multi-tasking abilities, strong communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

 Health Insurance Product Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and outgoing team player to join our brokerage team. You will need a good base of knowledge with health insurance – either individual, Medicare or small group from an agent, brokerage or carrier perspective.  Attitude, service, commitment, communication skills and reliability will be key factors for the successful candidate.  We can train and develop the right person.

Position Details:

Sharing knowledge on products and working with agents to grow their business.  Supporting new and experienced agents as they engage in Medicare, individual or small group with their clients.  Agents across the USA need to know they have our support to grow and retain business; you will be an important partner for our distribution.  You will develop key relationships with agents, deliver product training and support agents one to one or as a group to enable business growth.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Core knowledge of either Individual, Medicare or small group insurance
  • Agent, brokerage or carrier experience
  • Licensed agent or willing to become licensed to develop your knowledge
  • Evidence of accuracy, reliability, communication skills, character to solve problems and getting things done
  • Ability to deliver training one to one or in a group setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software suite
  • Awareness of CRM ideally SalesForce and the key roles of accurate data, record keeping and data analytics
  • Knowledge of quoting, enrollment and agent support technologies
  • College degree preferred
  • Second language a bonus
