FAQ

What comes with my registration?

Your registration includes access to the Health-A-Palooza conference on July 30, 2019, and all of its sessions, as well as the Under the Stars social evening on July 29, 2019.

Are CEs offered and how many credits can I earn?

Yes, 1 CE credit will be offered per conference session, and you may earn up to 5 CE credits during the conference.

I’m registered but can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?

Please refer to the cancellation policy below.

Health-A-Palooza 2019 Registration Cancellation Policy:

If a registrant is unable to attend the conference for any reason they may transfer the registration, by prior arrangement with LeClair Group, to someone else from the same company.

Where the registrant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person, then the following apply:

  1. Registrations canceled more than 30 days before the event will be refunded, less a $30 processing and administration fee.
  2. Registrations canceled less than 30 days before the event are not eligible for a refund.

Where should I park?

Parking is available in the City Center Ramp.  The daily rate for the City Center Ramp is $23.Valet and street parking are also available. The main entrance for the hotel is on 7th Street.

How do I get to the conference from the City Center Ramp?

After parking, take the elevator down to street level. After exiting the elevator, make a right.  As you walk, you will pass FHIMA, Advantage Health Gym and Prostaff. Take a right at APEX.  Following the hallway past the Wells Fargo ATM and take a right. Enter into the double doors and make a left. and follow the hallway until you reach the main entrance at the Marriott City Center Hotel.  More information can be found here.

Once I get to the hotel, where should I go?

If you are heading straight to the conference, take the elevator to the fourth floor.

If you are staying at the hotel, take the elevator to the Lobby on the fifth floor.  Upon check in you can take the escalator down to the ballroom on the fourth floor.

Will there be any conference handouts?

We will not be distributing any paper handouts or presentation slides at the conference, however handouts will be available for download a week before the conference. We will provide you with a download link when they are available. Please note that you will have to download and print these yourself to bring to the conference if you wish to have the slides available for taking notes.

Will there be a conference program?

No, we will be utilizing a conference event app this year.

How do I access the conference app?

The Health-A-Palooza 2019 App, which will include conference handouts, and track attendance, will be available to registered attendees in the Apple Store and Google Play. Our staff will be on hand at the registration desk.

Will meals be provided?

Yes, we will be offering both a hot breakfast buffet and a plated lunch during the conference.

Will there be WiFi available?

Yes, information will be available at conference regarding how to connect to it.

What if I have a special dietary need? 

You will have an opportunity to indicate any dietary needs when you register for the conference.

What is the dress code for the conference?

We recommend business casual or professional attire.
